ave been to Mumbai for getting admission to my brother into a college over there.The trip is not a planned one and so we have to go by private travel bus.The journey started at 8pm from Hyderabad and I was soon asleep. Well,I got up aroung 7:30am the next day only to notice awesome nature that i have not come across before and i came to know we are in the outskirts of Pune .The nature mesmorised me and it was not just a small of what was yet to come. After travelling for a while there comes on the right side subrato roy stadium built on the foots of Western ghats and the journey continued to witness more beauty of nature. The six lane Mumbai-Pune express way is man made jewel to the nature's beauty
The 93kilometre strectch which is an example of scientific avancement of man .the expressway strats at dehu road in Pune.Jorney through the expressway brings you a pleasant experience and the first time journey throught it will be remembered by everyone.The journey goes through tunnels,foothills creeks and so on.
As we proceed still further from dehu Road in pune towards Mumbai ou would travel through six Tunnels
The first one you would come across from pune-Mumbai direction is Kamshet tunnel which is of length 360metres.
The second tunnel is Kamshet tunnel of nearly a kilometre.the tird tunned.The third tunnel comes at Khandala whiich is of 400m long length.
The fourth tunnel comes up at Adoshi.
While travelling through these man made tunnels you would come across nature scenic beauty.You would be travelling some thousand metres above the sea level in between the clouds and you would also notice constructions of mankind at the foothills some thousand metres below from where you are travelling on road.It is what nature and science brings to you.If you had travelled atleast once through this you must be thankful to science for such a wonderful construction.The 93kilometre Journey Through Mumbai-Pune expressway comes to end at Kalamboli ,Navi Mumbai .
And next here comes the city of bollywood ,city of Seven islands Mumbai.The tourist spots in Mumbai are mostly located in South Mumbai.South Mumbai is financial hub of India,it is also historical part of mumbai
The historical monuments of include Chatrapatipati Sivaji terminus(Cst),Horiman Circle.University Convocation Hall,Rajabhai clock tower,Flora Fountain,Bombay highcourt, The Gateway of India and the Taj hotel
CST is one of the oldest railway station in Asia.It is also the Unesco world heritage monument.It resembles St.Pancras railway station of England

Gateway of India is situated infront of famous Taj hotel built to commemoratet the landing of King George V and queen Mary in Bombay prior to Delhi Durbar buil in 1911.The cost was 21lakh in thoso days.At the highest point it is 83feet above the ground level.It stood as a witness to terrorist attacks during early 21th century.It is built with Basalt rock and reinforced concrete.Opposite to the Gateway stands the Maratha Hero Shivahji statue who is 17th century war hero and hindu king.It was built by contractor Gammon India

Marine drive is 4.3km long strectch along the side of Arabian sea .It is also called Queen's Necklace because when viewed from an elevated point at any place in the marine drive the series of street lights resembles pearls in neclace.It is road that links Nariman point and Malabar hill.It is one of the costliest area in India with nearly US$2100.At the north end of the road there is a beach named "Girgaon Chowpatty".IT experiences huge crowd during Ganesh Visarjan.Also it houses India's cricket adminstrator BCCI head quaters and also one of the oldest cricket club in the world Cricket club of India.
